Trauma

Many of us know someone who has experienced a traumatic event.

Psychological Trauma is a severe emotional reaction to an extreme event such as a horrific accident or a natural disaster.

A victim of trauma can experience intense feelings such as shock, detachment from reality, feelings of hopelessness, or difficulty processing their emotions.

A more serious form of trauma can develop if there is no relief of symptoms over time. A qualified psychologist can help provide you effective strategies to manage traumatic symptoms and to live a more joyful life.
